He was born in Manhattan, New York, he is American, he is 51 years old, his parents are Robert Downey and Elsie Ford, his wife is Susan Levin, he has two baby boys and a baby girl.

He is an excellent actor, and he likes singing,  his most important performances are IRON MAN, Sherlock Holmes, his latest film is Captain America.


CHARACTERISTICS ABOUT AN ACTRESS OR ACTOR
They have to prepare and attend auditions, learn lines, they perform in a studio or location for film television, radio or broadcast, some actresses and actors do voice for advertisements, recording audiobooks, or cartoons.
Actresses and actors usually work indoors in theatres or television studios, although some contracts will require actors to work outdoors, for example some film and television work and street theatre.

They wear different costumes according to the film or tv series, their working hours may be long, on tour, an actor may be travelling and setting up scenery during the day and performing at night. Television and film work often involve very early starts and late finishes.
